The sporting curriculum at education establishments is an important element of both physical and academic education. Children and young adults benefit enormously from the team building that sports bring, not to mention the physical benefits.
Many sports contain a degree of risk of both trauma and medical presentation. Sole reliance on statuary ambulance services to provide care at larger scale events is discouraged by the authorities and is socially unacceptable. The benefit of having a professional team on-site to manage and treat any acute or exacerbation presentations means that participants receive early care. Our care delivery can be as the primary provider, or work in collaboration with existing school-based nursing care.
All of our personnel hold an enhanced DBS and are trained in the safeguarding of children and young adults, and we recognise that every contact is an opportunity to ensure their safety and well-being.
